Mr. Mark Grossklaus
Mark Grossklaus has been the principal of Albert Lea High School since July of 2014.
Before joining District 241, Mark was the principal at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Arts. Prior to working at the SPCPA, Mark taught social studies for 15 years at Medford High School, Woodbury High School, and South St. Paul High School.
Mark graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a BA in History and Bemidji State University with a BS in Secondary Education. He received his MA from the University of St. Thomas in Educational Technology and Ed.S in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
Mark lives in Albert Lea with his wife Tammy, his daughter Anna (senior at ALHS) and their goldendoodle, Lucy. He enjoys spending time with his family and is a big fan of the Minnesota Gophers! Interesting facts - served eight years on the Cottage Grove city council and was the 2000 Minnesota Coaches Association Girls Soccer Coach of the Year.
