Mary Jo Dorman

Mary Jo Dorman has been with District 241 since 1999. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Education from Saint Mary's University, a Masters in Reading, and a Reading Specialist Endorsement from Saint Mary's University, and a Masters in Educational Administration from Capella University. She has been a 1st Grade Teacher, 5th Grade Teacher, and a High School Reading Teacher.
Mary Jo also worked for Norwest Bank for 13 years, her last positon as a Bank Manager and Vice President with the company. She has served in many community positions, Board Chair of the Albert Lea Children's Center, during this tenure, leading the capital campaign to successfully pay off the building mortgage of the center, President of the Albert Lea Jaycees, and a member of the Albert Lea Chamber of Commerce.
Her passions include promoting literacy, traveling the world, reading, spending time with family, and gardening.
