Welcome to the Student Services Department at Albert Lea Area Schools
Special Education is specifically designed instruction and related services that enable a student with an identified disability to access and benefit from their educational program. Albert Lea school district provides specialized instruction in a wide range of ways. From our early intervention home-based services to community-based vocational training, we provide students with a quality individualized education program in the least restrictive environment. We provide specialized programming options for students who qualify for one or more of the areas of special education eligibility established by the state of Minnesota.
