Took Humanities courses that taught me to be self driven and time management.
Who inspired you at ALAS?
Mr. Barickman. He was a young fresh history teacher who replaced a teacher that unexpectedly died during the school year. He whole heartedly was passionate about what he was teaching. My daughter Alexa McCune had him as a teacher as well, class of 2011.
Please give some advice to current Tigers.
Slow down and enjoy High School and experience as much of the social activities you can. It's such a small amount of time in your life. You have decades in your adulting years to work and pay bills!
What was your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
Creamed chicken over mashed potatoes. I would visit each of my 3 children at lunch on those days too! Seemed around 3rd grade each would politely tell me not to come as it wasn't cool anymore.
What was your best memory from grade school?
The privledge to play Oregon Trail in the library at Hawthorne. There were 2 computers there.

Sibley fun night
