Albert Lea Area Schools Plans to Adjust Quarterly

           20.64 20.64

Our county currently has 20.64 cases per 10,000 people. For the district to adhere to guidance from the Minnesota Department of Education and Minnesota Department of Health, our plan is to start the year in person for all PreK-Grade 5 students, and with a hybrid approach for secondary students in grades 6-12 using an every other day approach. Our teaching model will shift based upon the conditions within our county. The district is planning on distance learning for all students PreK-Grade 12 on Fridays to provide a deep clean of our buildings.

Our Goal: To safely bring our students and staff back to school, and to provide families with options to meet the educational needs of their children.

Daily Student Screening Questions: Do you have flu-like symptoms or loss of smell? Have you been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours? Is anybody ill in your household?
