A big thank you to Taylor Matz, ALHS alumni and corporate jet pilot, for generously allowing a student to job shadow. Shadowing helped this student gain important insights from his valuable experience and learn more about the field of aviation as he plans for his future. #tigerpride

Today was Incentive Day, and we had some very special guests leading the way — our Teachers of the Day and Principal of the Day! 🏫👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 Students who raised the most money for our Walk-A-Thon stepped into leadership roles, and our top fundraiser became Principal Neilson for the day! She did an amazing job celebrating staff with a rolling snack cart - complete with a beverage, something salty, and something sweet. 🥤🍿🍬 She even took time to observe classrooms and leave encouraging notes for our hardworking staff. 💬📚 We wrapped up the day with ice cream sundaes and extra recess because at Halverson, we know how to work hard AND celebrate big! 🍨🎈 Halverson Rocks! 💙🐾
