ALHS Publications Update Twenty students that represented The Ahlahasa, Tiger Yearbook, Tiger Vision, and I-Mag attended the 2024 Minnesota State Journalism Convention held at the Coffman Memorial building at the University of Minnesota. This convention was the largest in attendance since the pandemic which is a celebration all its own. In addition to attending sessions to gain knowledge and skills to help our program grow, each publication also earned awards recognizing the hard work and dedication of our students. Tiger Yearbook: 8th Place Best in Show, All-State Bronze Award Ahlahasa Newspaper: 4th Place Best in Show, All-State Bronze Award I-Mag Literary Magazine: All-State Silver Aware Congratulations to our student journalists!

ALHS Tiger Football with the Comeback of the Season! 🎉 In an unforgettable finish, QB Teaghen Tolbers connected with WR Layton Yost for a clutch touchdown pass with just 0:45 left in the 4th quarter giving the Tigers a 20-19 lead! But the excitement didn’t stop there! On the next possession, Brecken Wacholz sealed the victory with a game-ending pick 6 TD, making it a 27-19 victory for the Tigers! 🐅

The Lakeview walkathon was an amazing success, allowing us to enjoy our beautiful community parks and spend quality time with classmates and caregivers. 😎👟

The Red Wheelbarrow poem inspired our 4th graders to write their own poems. 4 lines 4 words Lots of creativity!

I'm so excited for the Lakeview Walkathon tomorrow! We'll kick things off with an assembly at 9:15 AM, followed by heading out to the parks assigned to each grade. The day will be filled with lots of outdoor activities, including some walking, so be prepared for plenty of fun!
