On October 1st, our Early Childhood Family Education program hosted the 2026 ECFE Fall Festival from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Brookside Education Center. The event brought out support from around our community hosting an estimated 500 attendees. Donations from the DayBreaker Kiwanis, Renewal By Anderson, Cargill, Centos, along with books from a S.M.I.F. Grant enhanced this event making it possible for our community. Information from community resources were also available at the event. The Pony Rides from Horse'n Around out of Lyle, MN was a HUGE attraction as there was a constant line as children enjoyed free rides. It was great night hosted by our ECFE Team!
Walk a thon is tomorrow! Envelopes can be turned in to the main office. Please send your child in weather appropriate gear for this event. Reminder that if you would like to join your student to check in at the main office first and meet them on the playground. Thank you for your support!

As part of a local Honor Flight, Sibley's 5th-grade students had an opportunity to write letters to the veterans participating in the flight.
This event hit especially close to home for us. One of our own Sibley students’ family members helped organize the flight, making this project possible. Additionally, the parent of one of our staff members was among the honored veterans on the flight! Having these direct connections made the experience even more powerful for our school family.

Knowing our 5th graders helped make their experience extra special with personal messages of gratitude fills us with incredible pride.
We are tremendously proud of all our servicemen and women, past and present. The bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of our veterans and active-duty military families inspire our entire school community. Thank you for setting an example of selfless service for our students every single day.

Huge shout-out to Mrs. Boyenga’s 1st grade class for diving headfirst into a Wit & Wisdom routine!
Using tableaux (frozen scenes made of creative poses and expressive faces) these students brought their story comprehension to life. It takes real focus, teamwork, and confidence to express big ideas without speaking a word, and this class tackled the challenge brilliantly.
