The kids had a blast at today’s fancy lunch — appetizers, “fancy” manners, and lots of giggles. It was fun watching them take it all in and enjoy something a little different from the usual routine. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a sweet part of their day! ❤️ 💚

Students are expected to complete ONE Choice Board to be turned in to their classroom teacher no later than 3-days following the e-Learning Day. Please check your email for instructions on how to access a choice board if you do not already have a physical copy. Stay warm!

Halverson Buddies are in full swing as our 2nd and 5th graders came together for a special “I Am Thankful” writing activity. Fifth graders practiced their letter-writing skills while supporting our second graders in writing thoughtful sentences. The excitement was contagious when our second graders received heartfelt letters from their buddies - a wonderful way to build connections and celebrate thankfulness at Halverson!

Today, Mrs. Madore’s multilingual learners have been busy showing what they know with Flashlight360. This tool helps students practice speaking and writing by looking at a photo and responding to a prompt, and each grade is shining in their own way.
